I am an independent journalist based in Bangalore India with 22 years of experience across media platforms. I have a Bachelor's in Journalism and a Master's in Mass Communication. I began my career with Television making a transition to the print medium. I worked with an English Daily handling features creation and quality management. From here I moved on to the world of magazines.

Today, as an independent features journalist, my career has given me the flexibility of managing a full-time career and a teenager gracefully. Feature writing is a forte and my bylines are in international publications like New York Times, Al Jazeera, The National, Whetstone SA and Good Beer Hunting. I have written for top Indian publications such as Conde Nast Traveller, Architectural Digest, Travel and Leisure, Nat Geo Traveller, Mint Lounge, Reader's Digest, Lifestyle Asia, The Hindu, Firstpost, HT Slurrp.com and Zeezest. I also wrote extensively for the now-defunct Huffington-Post India and Smartlife from The Week.

Food and beverage is a niche and I have had the pleasure of interacting and interviewing internationally renowned chefs like the original trio of Masterchef Australia - Gary Mehigan, Matt Preston, and George Calombaris. Marco Pierre White was an absolute pleasure, as were Gaggan Anand, Garima Arora, Vivek Singh, Hari Nayak and Sameer Taneja among many others. I have a deep understanding of the F&B industry in India and enjoy a great relationship with folks across the sector. I am also on the jury panels for prestigious F&B Awards such as the Epicurean Guild Awards by Living Foodz Channel, Condenast Restaurant Awards, BW Hotelier Awards, and The Week Restaurant Awards.

I develop content for clients in the hospitality and public relations space and currently am working with Gurgaon-based DLF Ltd for their luxury projects team and with Tamara Leisure Experiences based in Bangalore. My work in the PR line has been with agencies and independent PR professionals. I also work on IT content - currently with Suyati Technologies and Neontrumpet for clients like Salesforce and companies like Alteryx and TIBCO.
